Project Overview: Custom Website
When Dr. Dodd reached out, she was in the middle of a major career transition—moving from a community-based testing setting into her own private practice. Claire’s work is deeply specialized, serving families across both the Portland and Seattle metro areas, but she needed a digital home that felt less like a clinic and more like her.
Starting from scratch, our project was about more than just "building a website." It was about translating Claire’s years of clinical expertise into a brand that feels down-to-earth, values-driven, and incredibly welcoming.
The Heart of the Project
Navigating neurodivergence or developmental questions for a child is an emotional journey for any parent. We wanted to make sure that the moment a family landed on Claire’s site, they felt an immediate sense of relief.
We spent a lot of time defining a brand voice that hit that "sweet spot": Approachable and human, yet anchored in evidence-based professionalism. We intentionally moved away from institutional, jargon-heavy language to create a space that feels:
Relational & Reassuring: Speaking directly to the parents' experience with warmth and empathy.
Clear & Accessible: Structuring the testing process so it feels like a guided partnership rather than a clinical hurdle.
Culturally Responsive: Ensuring Claire’s deep commitment to supporting Spanish-speaking and BIPOC families was woven into the very fabric of the messaging.
The Strategy Behind the Scenes
A Multi-City Digital Footprint: We built an SEO-informed architecture designed to help Claire show up for families in two distinct, competitive markets (Portland and Seattle) without losing that "local" feel.
Content with Depth: We structured the site to support multiple service lines—ADHD, Autism, and learning differences—providing enough depth to establish authority while keeping the user experience light and intuitive.
Intentional Design: Every visual and written element was chosen to reinforce trust, warmth, and cultural safety.
